Among the shopping centers in Trumbull are:

Madison Village

This quaint boutique shopping center along Madison Avenue opened just last year, and is located on the former site of P.J’s Garden Exchange. Shops include luxury goods store Pure Poetry; beer, wine & spirits shop Ninety 9 Bottles, and the Sitting Duck Tavern, described as a New American neighborhood tavern and restaurant.

Similarly designed boutique shopping centers that have high walkability and resemble old-style general stores that highlight the area’s local character are also being constructed at Long Hill Green along Main Street.

Westfield Trumbull

One of the biggest shopping malls in Trumbull, the two-story Westfield mall has over a million sq. ft. of retail space, and features shops from recognized brands and franchises that include Abercrombie & Fitch, Aeropostale, American Eagle Outfitters, Banana Republic, Forever 21, H&M, Michael Kors, Old Navy, Sephora, Starbucks, Uniqlo, and more.

JCPenney, Lord & Taylor, Macy’s, and Target serve as anchor stores. Westfield Trumbull is located along Merritt Parkway, and is accessible via Main Street and Madison Avenue.

Trumbull Center

Located at the corner of White Plains Road and Daniels Farm Road, Trumbull Center is an open-air mall with a cluster of buildings centered on a spacious parking area. Retail spaces include CVS Pharmacy, Trumbull Liquor Center, and Verizon Wireless.

It also has numerous restaurants and eateries such as Asian Village, Bruegger’s Bagels, France’s Pastry, Ichiro Japanese Hibachi and Sushi Bar, Marie’s Sandwich Shop, Sapore Italian Deli, and Starbucks.

Hawley Lane Mall

Opened in 1971, Hawley Lane Mall is a shopping complex located along Hawley Lane near Exit 8 of Connecticut Route 8 and Exit 52 of the Merritt Parkway. There are also independent shops inside the main mall, as well as eateries like Dunkin’ Donuts, McDonald’s, and Subway, with a Starbucks outlet found inside Target.

Town Hall Shopping Plaza

Just across the Trumbull Town Hall and Trumbull Library from Quality Street is the similarly named Town Hall Shopping Plaza, a small strip mall that’s anchored by a Stop & Shop. There are also some dining places that include Old Town Restaurant and Subway.
