More impressive is the fact that the top eight out of the best ten middle schools in the state, as ranked by Niche.com, are all within Fairfield County. Saxe Middle School in New Canaan was ranked #1, followed by Bedford Middle School in Westport, and East Ridge Middle School in Ridgefield.
