Numerous parks dot the town’s lush landscape, each with their own unique features and attractions.

Your beloved animal companions will enjoy Bark Park Dog Park.

Covering an acre and a half, this recently renovated dog park off Prospect Ridge features a fully fenced-in dog playing area and separate areas for small dogs and large dogs. There are also dog drinking stations, poop cleanup stations, and an area with yard hydrants for washing off dogs that get dirty while having fun in the park.

Beaches

Beach areas in Ridgefield are small sandy areas that are found near the many lakes in the town. Check out Martin Beach Park that’s adjacent to Great Pond, a natural spring-fed lake located off Great Pond Road just past the Ethan Allen Highway. The beach is manned by lifeguards during operating hours, and features amenities such as water slides, picnic pavilions, volleyball court, playground, and a dock for paddleboating and kayaking.
