milfordThe coastal city of Milford is one the earliest communities in south central Connecticut. It was originally settled back in 1639, and was officially incorporated in 1959.The city is situated in southwestern New Haven County, and can be found right between the cities of Bridgeport and New Haven.

An inviting New England atmosphere

Milford has a very cozy hometown ambiance highlighted by calming views of shimmering marinas, serene fishing ponds, meandering forest paths, and scenic walking trails.

Its most famous event is the annual Milford Oyster Festival, which takes place around the Milford Green and in various locations around the downtown area.

The festival features carnival rides, arts and crafts booths, food bazaars, canoe and kayak races, and live performances from famous musicians, with past performers such as Joan Jett, Soul Asylum, The Marshall Tucker Band, and more.
