Silverman’s Farm

Located in idyllic Easton, Connecticut, Silverman’s Farm is a well-known family-friendly attraction that features tons of great activities for kids and grownups alike.

Founded in the 1920s by Ben Silverman, the farm started out as a cider mill, before it became a Pick Your Own (PYO) fruit farm during the 70s and 80s. Today, Silverman’s Farm continues to thrill visitors with its scenic orchard, enjoyable tractor rides, petting farm, and other great attractions.

Seasonal attractions

There’s always something fun happening in Silverman’s Farm no matter what time of the year.

Visitors can enjoy a wide variety of events such as:

Halloween Pumpkin Patch

Each fall, residents from all over the tri-state area head to Silverman’s Farm for one of its best signature events: the Halloween Pumpkin Patch.

Here, visitors get to enjoy a fun-filled event featuring games, activities, competitions, performances, and more. A collection of intricately designed jack-o-lanterns will be on display, and guests can purchase it straight away or attempt to guess its weight – if you come within two ounces of the actual weight, you get to take it home for free!

Animal Farm

Children are guaranteed to have an unforgettable experience when they visit Silverman’s Animal Farm.

They’ll get to see, interact, and feed unique animals like buffalo, longhorn cattle, llamas, alpacas, fallow deer, emus, exotic birds, and more.

The Animal Farm is also available as a venue for birthday parties as well as school field trips.

Farm Market

Visitors looking to take home some freshly baked pies and other goodies made from the farm’s very own produce can head to the Farm Market.

In addition to their wonderful assortment of pies, the market also sells cookies, jams, jellies, New England preserves, specialty sauces, condiments, honey, syrup, and more.
